DMC Light Effects (Article 317W) series of metallic thread are colorfast and tarnish resistant. It is put in the same way as the embroidery floss, six-strand divisible thread on an 8.7 yard pull skein. The color numbers corresponds to the regular embroidery floss. They combine well for easier stitching and more subtle sparkle.
I try to keep all 36 colors of this floss in stock. The sets are the official DMC grouping as seen on the color card, and are listed in both listings for your convenience. Each set is treated as one item to save on shipping & handling. You can also select to purchase the full set of one each of all 36 color. The listed price of the full set reflects 10% discount from ordering the colors separately. Recently it had been difficult to get all of the colors, so I also set up a set of 35 and set of 34 colors so you can order one set of what I have available, and have that count as one item for shipping.
